About the role

The STRUCTURAL Building Envelope team is growing, and we're seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to lead business development efforts throughout Southern California.

Responsibilities

  • Developing, strengthening, and expanding relationships with building owners, property managers, engineers, architects, and general contractors throughout Southern California
  • Identifying and pursuing new opportunities within the commercial and public markets
  • Partnering with engineering firms to diagnose building envelope challenges and develop effective restoration solutions
  • Leading sales calls, lunch-and-learns, seminars, trade events, and networking initiatives
  • Managing strategic accounts and growing long-term client partnerships
  • Creating and presenting proposals that address complex customer needs
  • Collaborating closely with Operations, Estimating, and Engineering teams to deliver customer-focused solutions
  • Meting and exceeding annual sales and growth objectives

Requirements

  • 10+ years of successful business development or sales experience
  • Proven ability to develop new business and grow existing client relationships
  • Experience selling specialty construction services, restoration solutions, or related technical products/services
  • Strong network within the Southern California commercial construction market
  • Familiarity with engineers, architects, building owners, property managers, and general contractors
  • Experience utilizing CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred)
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Construction restoration or building envelope experience is highly preferred
  • Ability to travel throughout Southern California (70–80%)

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Construction Management, or related field
  • Experience: Proven track record in sales or business development
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce preferred)
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
