About the role

The Trade Desk is a global technology company specializing in digital advertising. This role involves building and leading enterprise-level partnerships with key clients, focusing on technology companies.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership for representing strategic relationships with The Trade Desk’s largest Technology clients globally.
  • Build and lead enterprise-level partnerships with executive stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to clients.
  • Cultivate focused accounts and brands by working collectively with global Sales, Client Services, Trading, and Custom Solutions teams.
  • Communicate the value of The Trade Desk’s media buying platform by aligning it with clients’ needs.
  • Participate in product roadmap discussions based on client needs with senior leadership, product, and engineering teams.
  • Respond to Request for Proposals (RFPs), including qualification and win strategy.
  • Optimize efforts related to company-wide goals and identify and close strategic up-selling opportunities.
  • Identify and close strategic up-selling opportunities by understanding core client business needs.
  • Work closely with product, marketing, and revenue teams to continuously improve efforts.
  • Take lead in responding to RFPs, including qualification & win strategy.

Requirements

We are looking for a commercially savvy, senior sales or marketing-minded individual with a proven track record of delivering results in the category, building relationships, and collaborating with other teams. You should have a detailed understanding of the Tech category, proven experience in the space, and a proven track record in online advertising outbound sales and/or marketing.

Qualifications

A proven track record in online advertising outbound sales and/or marketing, a detailed understanding of the Tech category, and experience developing and managing enterprise-level partnerships across complex, global organizations are prerequisites. You should also have experience establishing longstanding, consultative client relationships, strong quantitative skills and negotiation abilities, and the ability to lead commercial negotiations for large global accounts.

Skills

Strong communication skills with an ability to speak with C-level clients, passion for being in-person with clients, owning a room, closing deals, and driving incremental wins, and a proven track record of exceeding revenue expectations are essential.

Pay

The base salary range for this role is $176,700—$323,900 USD. This role follows a hybrid work model, with in-office expectations Tuesday through Thursday. Some travel is required.
