About the role
The Senior Business Development Associate is responsible for bringing in new project opportunities, building and maintaining industry relationships, and assisting in securing work to reach company annual profit targets.
Responsibilities
- Understanding of the office-specific market, Clune business practices, and the commercial construction industry.
- Client Relationship Management and New Business Development.
- Participation and active involvement in industry-related professional organizations and charity committees.
- Attendance at industry events, conferences, and networking events.
- Internal Company Support to BD Department, Team Leaders, Superintendents, Project Managers, and all management.
- Collaboration with the Marketing Department including the creation of collateral, presentations, proposals, reports, and other marketing materials.
- Supervision of Business Development Associate to enhance their knowledge and networking.
Requirements
- Good prospecting skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills, pipeline management, and database expertise.
- Professionalism and a willingness to learn the commercial construction industry and establish a network of real estate, design, construction, and various client contacts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (CRM database a plus).
- Ethical approach to maximize sales opportunities and uncover new business.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Sales/Marketing, Communications, Business, Real Estate, or Construction Management.
- 5+ years of experience in the construction, real estate, architecture, or engineering industry.
