Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify opportunities for energy solutions in the public sector
- Develop market and account plans to drive annual sales growth
- Cultivate advisory relationships with key public sector stakeholders
- Lead internal proposal strategy and engage cross-functional teams
- Prepare and present customer proposals and presentations
- Represent the company at industry events and enhance market presence
- Negotiate contracts aligned with customer needs and company standards
- Serve as primary contact during sales cycle and facilitate transitions to project teams
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline and activity tracking in CRM
Qualifications
- 8+ years experience in construction services, consulting, or energy sectors with a focus on sales
- Strong track record of leading sales and project development teams in Texas
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in sustainability, engineering, economics, finance, or business preferred
- Experience in business development, especially in the South or Southwestern US
- Demonstrated executive-level sales and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Valid Driver's License and readiness for travel
