Role: Senior Business Analyst with Repo and Sec Lending exp Location: Jersey City, NJ (4 days a week in office is required) Job Type: W2 Contract Primary Skillset is Repo and Sec Lending markets and repo trading platform experience. Description We are looking for a talented individual to join as a Senior Business Analyst Trade Support within the Funding, Treasury and Liquidity (FTL) Program. This is a role in which day-to-day trade support is a core and equally weighted responsibility alongside traditional Business Analyst duties.The role will report to a Product Owner forming part of the global development team, and will cover the Pre-Trade and Post-Trade functions within the Central Funding Group, working on FIS Apex and on the ATOM application. ATOM is a greenfield global front office analytics, risk and trade order management platform used globally by the Central Funding business, whilst Apex is a vendor application used as a system of books and records for Repo and Sec Lending activity. Responsibilities You will deliver enhancements to Apex and ATOM and provide first- and second-line support to traders and back-office users for trade lifecycle issues, including booking errors, settlement breaks, and collateral disputes.You will investigate and resolve trade-level incidents and exceptions on Apex and ATOM, performing root cause analysis and coordinating fixes with technology teams to ensure prompt and durable resolution.You will produce data-driven reports and dashboards to track support metrics and recurring issues, enabling continuous improvement across the support function. Requirements Must have: Experience working as a Business Analyst in Front Office and Back Office teams Experience in gathering requirements for Front Office users Detailed understanding of the Repo and Sec Lending markets (Front Office, Settlements and Collateral Management) Ability to translate requirements from non-technical users to developers Ability to explain technical issues and constraints to non-technical users In depth knowledge of a Repo trading platform. Ability to work effectively within a global team split across several different locations and time zones Solid technical proficiency, including the ability to write scripts (e.g. Python or SQL) and perform data analysis, with practical experience using AI-powered tooling (such as Aiden/Copilot-style assistants) to accelerate scripting, query-writing, and root cause investigation Nice-to-have Understanding of the various P&L valuationsKnowledge of Risk calculation methodsUnderstanding of the Apex infrastructure
