Senior Business Analyst (with P&C Insurance and MGA domain experience)

About the Role

This position focuses on business analysis within the insurance brokerage domain, specifically Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance, MGA, and MGU sectors. The role involves collaborating with business leads and technical teams to define project vision, scope, and requirements.

Technical Skills

• Primary domain expertise in Insurance Brokerage, P&C Insurance, MGA, and MGU
• Product experience with AMS and PAS platforms (e.g., AMS360, EPIC, Sagitta)
• Hands-on SQL experience with the ability to write simple to medium-complex queries
• Proficiency in analytical tools such as Power BI

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client Business Leads and team members to define business vision and project scope
• Drive requirements elicitation, design, and review sessions
• Apply software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
• Write concise user stories and precise acceptance criteria with business approval
• Elicit detailed product requirements, use cases, and maintain business requirements documentation
• Periodically review and update requirement documents
• Coordinate with business teams for UAT sign-off
• Test applications to ensure functionality aligns with business needs

Compensation

The position includes a base salary range with additional variable compensation based on individual and organizational performance. Actual pay within the range depends on skills, experience, performance, and internal equity. Other forms of compensation, such as annual performance-based bonuses or sales incentives, may also apply.
