Senior Business Analyst (Milwaukee, WI)
Responsibilities
- Analyze specific business areas and define how technology solutions can drive business outcomes.
- Partner with product managers, engineers, designers, and subject matter experts within Agile teams to deliver solutions.
- Provide deep expertise in at least one business domain and serve as a subject matter authority.
- Assess and document current-state processes across multiple business areas and domains.
- Perform future-state and gap analysis to identify solution opportunities and business improvements.
- Lead requirements gathering for medium to large initiatives across multiple business domains.
- Author user stories and features with medium to high complexity.
- Serve as a subject matter expert throughout the development lifecycle.
- Cookordination and facilitate business test planning and test execution.
- Author and review test plans and ensure business sign-off on testing activities.
- Lead projects independently and provide mentorship to other business analysts when needed.
- Apply project management skills to drive delivery, execution, and continuous progress.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 4-5 years of business analysis experience.
- Strong experience with requirements gathering and business analysis.
- Strong independent ownership and accountability.
- Strong project leadership and execution skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Deep familiarity with Agile and Scrum development environments.
- Ability to analyze complex problems using multiple information sources and recommend solutions.
- Strong communication skills with ability to serve as a key information resource and decision support partner.
- Advanced gap assessment skills.
- Advanced requirements gathering experience.
- Advanced test planning experience.
- Intermediate proficiency with Adobe Analytics.
- Intermediate proficiency with Jira.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Power BI.
- Intermediate proficiency in SQL.
- Intermediate experience with process mapping, product demonstrations, user research, and wireframing.
- Basic understanding of business cases, continuous improvement, and storytelling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications related to business analysis or Agile methodologies.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
- Experience with process improvement and Lean methodologies.
- Strategic and executive-level thinking.
- Strong technology acumen.
- Experience with industry benchmarking.
