Job Grade 5, Tier 1 – Retail Specialist Supervisor role based on-site at HQ in Dallas, Texas. Remote/telework is not authorized.

About the role

Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Writes detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. Supervises assigned associates.

Responsibilities

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Designs and implements guardrails (input/output filters, policies, escalation rules) to prevent abuse, prompt injection, and unsafe content.
  • Applies knowledge of abuse patterns (fraud, phishing, harassment, social engineering) and techniques for abuse and malware detection in AI-driven systems.
  • Securely integrates agents with external systems and internal tools using strict authentication, least-privilege access, and monitoring.
  • Evaluates and monitors AI/LLM systems for hallucination rates, reliability, safety violations, drift, and performance metrics.
  • Sets up logging, monitoring, and audit trails for all agent actions to support compliance, forensics, and incident response.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with Security, Legal, Compliance, Data, and Product teams on AI risk decisions.
  • Defines and runs incident response and postmortem processes for AI/agent failures or security events.

Requirements

  • Six years of experience in retail operations/management, inventory management, procurement, and/or developing business policies, programs, and strategies, plus one year of experience at the pay band 4-2/4-3 level or equivalent industry experience.
  • OR a Bachelor’s degree plus four years of experience in retail operations/management, inventory management, procurement, and/or developing business policies, programs, and strategies, plus one year of experience at the pay band 4-2/4-3 level or equivalent industry experience.
  • Strong understanding of LLMs and agent architectures, including non-determinism and multi-step workflows.
  • Familiarity with AI risk frameworks and concepts (trust, safety, privacy, accountability, and governance for AI systems).

Qualifications

  • Preferred degree: Bachelor of Business Administration with a major/minor in Business Administration.
