Senior Business Analyst BlackRock Aladdin / Asset Management Location: New York, NY or Boston, MA Work Arrangement: Onsite Pay Rate: $60/hr on 1099 Experience: 10+ Years Interview/Onboarding Requirement: Face-to-Face meeting required Local Candidates: Strongly Preferred Start: Immediate / ASAP Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong hands-on expertise in the BlackRock Aladdin platform and extensive experience within the Investment Management / Asset Management domain. The ideal candidate will have deep Front Office experience supporting Portfolio Management, Order Management, and Trade Lifecycle functions. This position requires strong analytical capabilities, hands-on SQL skills for data investigation and analysis, and the ability to work closely with business, technology, and investment-management stakeholders. This is an onsite opportunity in New York, NY or Boston, MA. Candidates must be available for the required face-to-face meeting/onboarding process. Key Responsibilities Work closely with Front Office, investment, technology, and business stakeholders to analyze business and system requirements. Support business processes and applications utilizing the BlackRock Aladdin platform. Provide functional and analytical support across Portfolio Management, Order Management, and Trade Lifecycle processes. Analyze business requirements, workflows, system behavior, and data issues within the Investment Management / Asset Management environment. Perform data investigation, validation, reconciliation, and analysis using SQL. Investigate business and application issues and coordinate with appropriate business and technical teams for resolution. Support Front Office users and stakeholders across investment-management workflows. Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical requirements for development and support teams. Participate in requirement gathering, analysis, testing, implementation, and production-support activities. Collaborate effectively with portfolio management, trading, operations, technology, and other stakeholders. Maintain clear documentation of requirements, processes, findings, and system changes. Required Qualifications 10+ years of professional experience. Strong hands-on experience with the BlackRock Aladdin platform. Strong Investment Management / Asset Management domain expertise. Strong Front Office support experience. Hands-on understanding of Portfolio Management processes. Experience with Order Management processes and workflows. Strong understanding of the Trade Lifecycle. Strong SQL skills for data investigation and analysis. Excellent business analysis, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Strong stakeholder-management experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams. Ability and willingness to work onsite in New York, NY or Boston, MA. Must be available for the required face-to-face meeting. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Snowflake. Exposure to Aladdin Data Cloud. Python experience. Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a senior-level Business Analyst with extensive Investment Management / Asset Management experience who has directly worked with the BlackRock Aladdin platform and supported Front Office functions including Portfolio Management, Order Management, and Trade Lifecycle activities. The candidate should be comfortable investigating complex business and data issues using SQL and communicating effectively with investment, business, and technology stakeholders.
