About the Opportunity: The Senior Business Analyst supports accounting and finance initiatives, with a strong focus on the Jack Henry SilverLake platform. This role serves as a liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, and operations to improve financial systems, streamline reporting, strengthen data integrity, and support successful project delivery. The position contributes to finance modernization through requirements analysis, process improvement, testing, governance, and production support. Responsibilities: • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for accounting, finance, and technology initiatives.• Support finance and accounting transformation projects and system enhancements.• Coordinate testing activities, defect management, and user acceptance testing.• Manage project tracking, sprint planning, and delivery activities within Agile environments.• Create, maintain, and prioritize Azure DevOps work items.• Translate ServiceNow requests into clear and actionable business and technical requirements.• Monitor backlog health, work allocation, and delivery progress.• Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready project and system documentation.• Manage change requests and support governance and compliance requirements.• Coordinate user access requests and client portal submissions.• Develop and maintain operational and management reports.• Support dashboard maintenance, data analysis, and reporting improvements.• Develop and update standard operating procedures, user guides, and training materials.• Facilitate business process management and continuous process improvement initiatives.• Develop test strategies and support system enhancements and implementations.• Maintain knowledge repositories and project documentation.• Coordinate system access and technical support activities.• Assist with production support, issue investigation, and resolution. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree.• Minimum 5 years of business analyst experience supporting financial systems, banking operations, or related environments.• Strong experience with Jack Henry platforms, particularly solutions supporting accounting and finance functions.• Proven experience working in Agile delivery environments, including backlog management and user story development.• Proficiency with Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, and reporting and analytics tools.• Strong understanding of accounting and finance processes, including loan and deposit operations.• Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and user acceptance testing.• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC), change management, SOX controls, audit, and governance processes.• Strong analytical, problem-solving, requirements documentation, and process improvement skills.• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Pay Range and Compensation Package: • Target annual salary range of $85,000–$92,500.• Eligibility for an annual discretionary cash bonus with a target of 10%.• Eligibility for an annual discretionary restricted stock unit bonus with a target of 10%.• Additional discretionary bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based on performance and applicable goals.
