About the role
This role serves as a Salesforce Senior Business Analyst, acting as a consultant, advisor, and subject matter expert for clients. The position involves leading discovery sessions, gathering requirements, and translating business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions tailored to the staffing and recruiting industry.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Functional Lead on Salesforce projects, overseeing functional design and configuration of customer use cases.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients on improving staffing and recruiting workflows, including candidate sourcing, client management, job order processing, and placement tracking.
- Lead change management efforts and create end-user enablement programs to drive platform adoption.
- Lead client discovery sessions to understand current-state processes, business objectives, and pain points.
- Analyze and document functional and technical requirements for Salesforce solutions tailored to the staffing and recruiting industry.
- Design solutions on the Salesforce platform to meet customer requirements.
- Create user stories, process flows, and wireframes to communicate requirements clearly to delivery teams.
- Collaborate with Salesforce Architects, Admins, Business Analysts, and Developers to ensure solutions meet business needs and are technically feasible.
- Lead system configuration and testing efforts, including test case development and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide ongoing support and best practice recommendations post-implementation.
- Identify opportunities for Salesforce automation and optimization based on client operations and goals.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Salesforce implementations, ideally in a consulting environment.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Salesforce ATS products.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to document and translate business requirements into technical specs and user stories.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
- Proficiency in tools like Asana or Jira, Lucidchart, and Salesforce reporting/dashboards.
- Understanding of data migration and change management best practices.
- Salesforce Administrator or Business Analyst certification.
- Bachelor’s degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience working with clients in the staffing or recruiting industry.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting KPIs, and staffing workflows.
- Experience working with staffing-specific Salesforce apps (e.g., Bullhorn Recruitment Cloud, Assist, Seven20, TargetRecruit).
