About the Opportunity
The Senior Business Analyst role is responsible for leading complex, cross-functional initiatives throughout the software development life cycle. This position partners with business and IT stakeholders to define requirements, align priorities, and ensure delivery of solutions that create measurable value. The role plays a critical part in driving clarity, managing change, and supporting the successful implementation of technology initiatives that impact both associates and patients.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end requirements for complex, cross-functional projects from discovery to delivery
- Collaborate with business, product, engineering, QA, and project leaders to align milestones, risks, and success metrics
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops to analyze processes and design improved workflows
- Create and manage user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data mapping, and business rules
- Ensure requirements traceability and manage scope changes across the SDLC
- Work with technical teams to evaluate solutions and align with business goals and compliance
- Support quality assurance and user acceptance testing to validate outcomes and resolve defects
- Communicate status, risks, and decisions clearly to stakeholders and leadership
- Drive implementation readiness, documentation, adoption, and mentor peers on best practices
- Perform additional projects and duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years as a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst delivering complex initiatives across Agile or Waterfall SDLC
- Proven ability to lead discovery and define clear, actionable requirements
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with business, product, engineering, and QA teams
- Strong understanding of systems, integrations, and data flows linking technical solutions to business outcomes
- Effective communication and facilitation skills to align stakeholders and translate between business and technical teams
- Analytical, organized, and self-directed with strong prioritization skills
Pay Range and Compensation Package
Salary range: $99,750 to $114,000 per year, depending on experience, background, and location
