Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- 7+ years of business analysis experience, including 3+ years as a senior or lead BA working on complex SaaS or platform products.
- Experience authoring Jira user stories and requirements artifacts (BRDs, functional specs, acceptance criteria) for engineering consumption.
- Experience leading backlog refinement sessions and partnering with engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle to answer requirements questions and unblock implementation.
- Strong process mapping and documentation skills, with fluency in tools such as Confluence, Lucidchart, Miro, or equivalents.
- Experience working with external development vendors and translating requirements clearly across organizational boundaries.
- Hands-on data analysis ability, including comfort with SQL or similar tools for self-service data exploration.
- Experience in B2B or SaaS environments with contractual SLAs and enterprise customers.
- Demonstrable written/visual communication skills: executive summaries, process diagrams and stakeholder presentations.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Fluency in Spanish (used regularly in standup meetings and development partner coordination).
- Experience in the telecom, messaging, or wireless industry (short codes, A2P/P2P messaging, RCS/RBM, carrier integrations).
- Familiarity with KYC/KYB workflows, identity verification platforms, or business entity data (FEIN, DBAs, multi-brand corporate structures).
- Experience with billing and subscription platforms (Stripe, Chargebee, or comparable).
- Experience working with regulated industry partners or trade associations (CTIA or similar).
- Familiarity with data visualization and BI tools (QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI, or comparable).
- CBAP, PMI-PBA, or comparable business analysis certification.
Pay
$115k-$145k per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
