Your Job Flint Hills Resources is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to join our team. We are seeking an individual who is a key member of our Accounts Payable team, responsible for driving continuous improvement, process optimization, and technology adoption across Accounts Payable processes. This role will evolve to combine accounting expertise, analytical thinking, and technical aptitude to support AI-enabled work processes, exception management, reporting, automation initiatives, and future-state business transformation. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated problem solver who enjoys leveraging technology to improve business outcomes, eliminate manual work, identify root causes, and build scalable solutions. This individual will serve as a leader within the team by sharing knowledge, mentoring others, and partnering across multiple business functions to drive meaningful change. What You Will Do Transformation & Process ImprovementSupport and optimize existing applications and business processes while driving the transformation to an exception-based operating model through the adoption of AI, automation, and next-generation workflow technologiesAnalyze process issues and implement practical solutions that reduce manual workFuture-State Exception Management & Operational SupportInvestigate and resolve complex Accounts Payable exceptions and recurring issuesServe as a resource for Accounts Payable processes, controls, and operational reportingTechnology & Data AnalyticsDevelop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytical tools to support business decisionsSupport automation, AI-enabled tools, and technology enhancements by identifying opportunities and testing solutionsCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with stakeholders and leadership to resolve operational challenges and support process improvementsPartner with business teams & leadership to gather requirements and support the testing and implementation of process and system enhancementsLeadership & Team DevelopmentShare knowledge, provide training, and support team members on processes, tools, and reportingAssist with complex issues and troubleshooting across the team Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) 3+ years of accounting, accounts payable, finance, business process, or related experienceAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills (Ex: pivot tables, formulas, VBA coding, macros)Experience developing dashboards, reports, and analytical tools using Power BI, Alteryx, Microsoft Access, or similar platforms to provide insights and support business decision-makingThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorship What Will Put You Ahead Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or related fieldExperience with any of the following: Microsoft Copilot, AI and automation tools, SQL or database management, or Reporting and dashboard developmentExperience supporting automation, workflow, or digital transformation initiativesExperience with exception management and operational reportingExperience training, mentoring, or leading projects At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
