About the role
TDS Telecom is seeking a Senior Account Executive (Business to Business) to join our Commercial Sales team. This role involves identifying and building relationships with prospective and existing customers, leveraging TDS' full range of solutions, and managing customer service requests.
Responsibilities
- Identify, contact, and build relationships with prospective customers through cold calling and networking.
- Leverage the TDS CRM system to develop prospecting and sales strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely customer status and forecasting using the CRM system.
- Write and submit accurate and timely new customer orders following the established sales process.
- Manage/placement of moves, adds, changes, and deletions (MACD) for the customer base.
- Conduct sales calls to determine customer needs, gain information, and effectively communicate TDS' value proposition.
- Meet or exceed sales and revenue growth targets for new and existing customer bases.
- Regularly contact existing customers to build relationships and grow revenue from those accounts.
Requirements
- 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in B2B sales.
- 2+ years of cold calling experience.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-system environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a territory using technology, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Track record of success in business-to-business sales.
- Computer literacy (Excel, Word, email, Internet).
- Must maintain quota levels.

- Access to a cell phone.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills including the ability to convincingly persuade others.
- Ability to clearly and effectively set goals and then attain them as evidenced by a track record of setting goals, creating a work plan, establishing a reward, working diligently, measuring performance, adjusting as necessary, and then accomplishing the goal.
- Ability to work independently as evidenced by identifying problems, gathering data, weighing the facts, consulting others as necessary, making decisions, and effectively implementing the decision.

- Must maintain quota levels.
