About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Budget Program Analyst to provide financial management, budgeting, acquisition, and program analysis support for Special Operations Forces (SOF) programs. This position supports program managers and resource management leadership in planning, programming, budgeting, execution, and acquisition lifecycle activities for complex defense programs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct financial and program analyses.
- Support budget planning, formulation, execution, and financial reporting.
- Develop life-cycle cost estimates, spend plans, acquisition strategies, and program support documentation.
- Contribute to key budget and planning processes.
- Support the development of requirements documentation, Statements of Work, Statements of Objectives, and Performance Work Statements.
- Track procurement actions, monitor program performance, and identify risks, funding gaps, and programmatic issues.
- Provide subject matter expertise in financial management, cost analysis, and resource planning.
- Provide recommendations that enhance program execution, acquisition outcomes, and mission effectiveness.
Requirements
- DODFM Certification level III.
- Defense Finance & Accounting Services-Certified Management Accountant.
- Graduate of the Defense Resource Manager Course.
- Certified in Defense Fiscal Law.
- Financial management expertise and coordination experience with:
- DoD
- USSOCOM
- USASOC
- Defense Department Services
- Under Secretary of Defense - Intelligence (USD-I)
- Congressional Reports
- Military Intelligence Program Funding
- National Intelligence Program Funding
- All Agencies associated with the Office of the Director of National Intelligence
