Senior Bridge Engineer

About the role

The Senior Bridge Engineer will lead the design and construction of critical infrastructure projects, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with all relevant codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and analysis of bridge structures using advanced engineering software.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining high quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance on bridge construction processes.
• Develop and maintain detailed project documentation including specifications, drawings, and reports.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and regulations affecting bridge engineering.

Requirements

• M.S. in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in bridge engineering.
• Experience with bridge design software such as SAP2000, ETABS, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of ACI, AASHTO, and other relevant bridge design codes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project.
• Knowledge of construction materials and their properties.
• Experience with bridge inspection and maintenance procedures.
