Senior Bridge Engineer

Job Summary

TYLin is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer to join our Bellevue office and collaborate with industry leaders. This role involves leading complex transportation infrastructure design, mentoring junior engineers, and engaging with clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design of complex transportation infrastructure, including bridges, tunnels, and walls.
• Oversee and review engineering reports, calculations, and drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Work directly with state agencies, municipalities, and design/build contractors to develop tailored solutions.
• Play a key role in business development efforts, engaging with clients and presenting innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering
• PE License (Structural Engineer preferred)
• 10+ years of structural design experience in bridges and transportation infrastructure
• Expertise in structural analysis software such as CSI Bridge, or LARSA 4D, Midas Civil
• Experience with WSDOT standards, codes and procedures strongly preferred
• Client-focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions
• Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients’ toughest challenges
• Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence

Additional Information

TYLin is committed to pay equity. The base compensation range for this position is $117,600 - $190,000 annually.
