Senior Branch Specialist (Personal Banker)
About the role
A Great Place To Work certified company, Consumers Credit Union is recruiting for a Senior Branch Specialist (Personal Banker) at our Kildeer and Northbrook branches. This role involves developing relationships with members, becoming their financial expert, and guiding them towards beneficial products and services.
Responsibilities
- Identify and recommend financial products/services that benefit members
- Guide members through the application process for specialized and complex accounts and consumer loans
- Support the team by greeting members and assisting with inquiries
- Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and compliance standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of relevant work experience (retail, customer service, guest relations, sales, and cash handling)
- Financial institution, Teller, Personal Banker experience preferred
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
- Computer proficiency in Data Processing Platforms, Email, Internet/Intranet, Instant Messaging, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask, work quickly, and stay organized
- Positive attitude and willingness to help others
Pay
The salary range for this role is $18.34 - $27.51 per hour. This position is eligible for sales incentives. Compensation is determined based on various factors including skill set, experience, and training.
Schedule
Regular work schedule includes Monday - Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM; Friday: 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM; and regular Saturdays: 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM.
