Senior Bookkeeper

Focus Partners is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper with entertainment business management experience to join our hybrid team in Calabasas, CA. You will work with a diverse client base, including producers, touring artists, and film/television icons, handling client accounting and transaction processing.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities for multiple clients, including processing accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Perform credit card and bank reconciliations
• Oversee multiple monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting processes
• Prepare and review 1099 reports
• Create and post journal entries
• Handle additional projects and duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma (required)
• 4+ years of entertainment business management experience (highly preferred)
• 4+ years of experience with Excel
• Experience with AgilLink software (highly preferred)
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
• Self-directed, able to handle new tasks with minimal direction
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a client-focused team environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Pay

The annualized base pay range for this non-exempt role is $80,000–$90,000. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, expertise, location, and skill set. Additional rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
