Senior Bioprocess Specialist

Join a dynamic team at the forefront of biotechnology research and development. We are seeking a Senior Bioprocess Specialist to lead process development and optimization efforts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize bioprocessing workflows for efficient production of therapeutic proteins.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including scientists, engineers, and regulatory experts to ensure compliance with GMP standards.
• Conduct experiments to improve product yield and quality while minimizing costs.
• Write technical reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Train and mentor junior staff on best practices in bioprocess development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in bioprocess development and scale-up.
• Experience with upstream and downstream processing techniques.
• Strong knowledge of GMP regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Proficiency in laboratory equipment and software such as HPLC, LC-MS, and process analytical technologies (PAT).
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field preferred.
• Experience with cell culture and fermentation processes.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis tools and techniques.
• Good understanding of molecular biology techniques.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with process analytical technologies (PAT).
