Senior Billing and Coding Compliance Analyst & Educator

About the Role

These jobs focus on managing the financial aspects of patient care, including billing, insurance claims, payment processing, financial counseling, utilization and revenue cycle analysis. These roles are responsible for translating patient diagnoses, treatments, and procedures into standardized medical codes. Medical coders ensure accurate coding to support billing processes, comply with regulations, and maintain the integrity of patient health records for reimbursement and reporting purposes.

Responsibilities

• Leading the design, implementation or delivery of processes, programs and policies using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education
• Managing projects or processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience required
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC), AAPC or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), AHIMA, required
• Other similar coding certifications may be considered

Physical Demands

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings and programs.

Pay

The pay range for this role is $71,988.80 - $127,890.00 annually. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
