Senior Bilingual Content Strategist, (Senior Consultant, Experience & Design)
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Bilingual Content Strategist as part of our Senior Consultant, Experience & Design career path to lead the translation, localization, and quality assurance of Spanish-language content for state claimant and employer-facing digital services. This role is first and foremost responsible for ensuring that English content is translated into clear, accurate, legally sound, and culturally appropriate Spanish. The ideal candidate understands that effective translation goes beyond language fluency—it requires deep knowledge of cultural nuance, plain language principles, and the ability to preserve legal and regulatory intent while making complex government information understandable to diverse Spanish-speaking audiences. This individual will also leverage content strategy experience to improve content quality, collaborate with product and design teams, and help establish scalable bilingual content workflows within an agile, human-centered design environment.
This is a fully remote role.

- Translate and adapt user-facing content—including instructional text, workflows, help content, notifications, and application guidance—while preserving the intent of the original English source.
- Ensure legal, regulatory, and public benefits information is accurately represented in Spanish with no loss of meaning or ambiguity.
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert for Spanish-language content quality, partnering with stakeholders to resolve linguistic, cultural, and terminology questions.
- Review and refine machine-assisted translations produced through localization tools to ensure they meet quality and accuracy standards.
- Partner with product managers, UX designers, content designers, and engineers to integrate high-quality bilingual content into sprint delivery cycles.
- Contribute to content strategy by helping define content standards, governance, and reusable patterns that support scalable bilingual experiences.
- Conduct content audits and recommend improvements to clarity, consistency, accessibility, and user comprehension.
- Support metadata, information architecture, and content organization efforts where appropriate to improve findability and maintainability.
- Participate in user research and content validation activities to ensure translated content effectively serves Spanish-speaking users.
