Senior Banking Recruiter
Job Duties
Lead full-cycle recruitment for the Wealth Management organization, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
Build and execute proactive direct sourcing strategies through social media, professional networks, and employee referrals.
Identify and engage high-caliber candidates for front office and financial services roles.
Serve as a strategic talent advisor to hiring managers by providing market intelligence, candidate assessments, and hiring strategy recommendations.
Recommend and negotiate candidate offers, including complex compensation structures and relocation packages.
Maintain consistent communication with hiring managers and key stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.
Deliver timely recruitment updates and structured candidate feedback.
Research competitor hiring activity and market trends to support talent acquisition strategies.
Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company hiring policies, compliance standards, and best practices.
Escalate recruitment risks or compliance concerns as appropriate.
Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience
- 6 to 10 years of talent acquisition experience, with a track record of managing full-cycle recruitment in a large, complex financial services organization.
- Must have experience in either a corporate or agency recruiting environment.
- Must have the ability to perform direct sourcing as well as manage full life cycle recruiting processes.
- Skilled in direct sourcing techniques, including the use of LinkedIn and other social media platforms to identify and engage passive candidates.
- Experience operating within a consultative recruiting model, advising senior stakeholders on hiring strategy and candidate evaluation.
- Working knowledge of complex compensation structures, including base salary, bonus, and relocation packages, with the ability to structure and negotiate competitive offers.
- Strong leadership and project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience
- Financial services recruiting background.
- Front office recruiting experience.
- Front office financial services recruiting experience, particularly within Wealth Management, Private Banking, or related business lines.
- Familiarity with diversity recruiting programs and participation in external talent community events.
