Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain features for Agentic Tools within the company’s monolithic backend
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management and UX to enhance product quality
- Design and implement robust REST and GraphQL APIs for backend functionality
- Strengthen quality through improved automated testing and developer feedback
- Establish and share engineering standards for AI integration within the team
- Contribute to production issue troubleshooting through on-call rotations
- Analyze the competitive landscape to maintain the company’s MCP server excellence
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in building and maintaining production applications with Ruby on Rails
- Familiarity with background jobs, APIs, and data models in a Ruby on Rails context
- Ability to work across various technology stacks, with exposure to both Python backends and Vue frontends considered a plus
- Proven skills in designing or extending REST and/or GraphQL APIs, focusing on scalability and maintainability
- Experience with automated testing frameworks, such as RSpec
