Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain secure, well-tested features for Agentic Tools within the company’s backend
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine product requirements and execute enhancements
- Design and review backend logic for REST and GraphQL APIs, ensuring reliability and scalability
- Enhance automated testing and improve quality standards through various testing frameworks
- Share engineering patterns and insights to promote responsible AI integration within the team
- Participate in on-call support, troubleshoot issues, and improve system observability
Qualifications
- 5-7 years experience with Ruby on Rails, including APIs and data models
- Ability to navigate a mature codebase across the stack; familiarity with Python and Vue is advantageous
- Skilled in designing REST and GraphQL APIs, emphasizing scalability and maintainability
- Practical experience with AI tooling and developing AI-integrated backend features is a plus
- Proficient in SQL and experienced with relational databases like PostgreSQL
- Eager to learn, collaborate asynchronously, and adapt insights from related fields
- Strong communication skills for creating technical documentation and collaborating in a remote setting
