Senior Automation Engineer – AI & Intelligent Automation

Location: Atlanta, GA • Duration: 6 months • Experience Required: 4-6 years

About the Role

Design, develop, and implement automation solutions across Oracle HCM Cloud applications. Leverage Oracle HCM expertise, workflow automation, integrations, AI, and cloud technologies to improve HR operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, enhance data quality, and enable intelligent decision-making. Drive HR digital transformation through intelligent automation and AI-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation solutions for Oracle HCM Cloud business processes.
• Analyze HR operations and identify opportunities for process automation and optimization.
• Develop and maintain integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, and HCM Extracts.
• Configure and automate workflows across:

• Build and maintain automated data validation, reconciliation, and reporting solutions.
• Develop RPA solutions using UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate, or similar platforms.
• Leverage AI and Generative AI to enhance HR service delivery, employee self-service, and workforce analytics.
• Create automated dashboards and alerts using OTBI and BI Publisher.
• Collaborate with HR business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
• Support Oracle HCM quarterly release testing, automation, and deployment activities.
• Document automation frameworks, technical designs, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience working with Oracle HCM Cloud.
• Strong expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud modules.
• Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Strong knowledge of:
  • REST APIs
  • SOAP Web Services
  • HDL
  • HSDL
  • HCM Extracts
• Experience with automation platforms such as:
  • UiPath
  • Automation Anywhere
  • Microsoft Power Automate
  • Oracle Process Automation
• Strong experience with SQL, PL/SQL, XML, XSLT, and data integration concepts.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Experience implementing AI/ML-driven HR solutions.
• Familiarity with Oracle Digital Assistant (ODA) and conversational AI.

• Implement document intelligence and automated HR case management.
• Leverage Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, Oracle AI Services, Azure OpenAI, or OpenAI technologies to enhance HR experiences.
