Senior Automation Developer - Network & Market Data Instrumentation

About the role

Senior developer with 9+ years building automation and monitoring tooling for capital-markets network infrastructure. Deep hands-on experience with Corvil packet capture, market data feed validation, and large-scale metadata pipelines for trading environments. Comfortable working directly with network engineering, trading technology, and risk stakeholders to translate operational requirements into reliable automation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automation and monitoring tooling for capital-markets network infrastructure.
• Administer Corvil packet capture and analytics; manage tap/span (mirrored traffic) infrastructure.
• Develop data collection, validation, and pipeline automation using Python, Bash, and SQL.
• Work with market data feed handlers, exchange connectivity, and FIX/multicast feed protocols.
• Design and integrate REST APIs; develop CMDB/metadata systems.
• Implement CI/CD for infrastructure automation (Jenkins, Git, Ansible).

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience in automation and monitoring tooling for network infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Corvil packet capture and analytics administration.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, and SQL for automation and data pipelines.
• Experience with market data feed validation and exchange connectivity.
• Knowledge of network fundamentals: load balancers, firewalls, routing/switching, IP/port-level session modeling.
• Experience with REST API design and integration; CMDB/metadata system design.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Ansible.
