Senior Network Automation Developer
Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join their dynamic team in a complete remote role based in the USA.
About the role
As an integral part of the Network Engineering department, you will support critical infrastructure and automation initiatives. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions for network infrastructure in a capital-markets environment.
You will collaborate with network engineering, trading technology, and risk teams to translate operational requirements into reliable automation tools. Responsibilities include managing and optimizing Corvil packet capture, market data feed validation, and large-scale metadata pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate operational requirements into automation tools.
- Manage and optimize Corvil packet capture, market data feed validation, and metadata pipelines.
- Develop and maintain scripts and pipelines using Python, Bash, and SQL for data collection and validation.
- Design REST APIs and integrate with CMDB/metadata systems to streamline operational workflows.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience building automation and monitoring tools for network infrastructure.
- Deep hands-on experience with Corvil packet capture, market data feed validation, and metadata pipelines.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, and SQL for automation and data processing.
- Knowledge of exchange connectivity, FIX/multicast feed protocols, and network fundamentals.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Ansible for infrastructure automation.

Pay
$65 per hour on W2.
