About the role

Prototype, design, upgrade, and support automated systems in a collaborative environment. Integrate state-of-the-art hardware including robots, cameras, sensors, and servo motors. Write software to automate systems, create user interfaces, and synthesize industrial internet of things (IIOT) data. Research and develop emerging automation technologies especially robotics, computer vision, and machine learning. Use communication skills to convey technical information to engineering, operations, and management personnel. Work hands-on with systems to ensure they are built, commissioned, and function as required.

Responsibilities

  • Prototype, design, upgrade, and support automated systems in a collaborative environment.
  • Integrate state-of-the-art hardware including robots, cameras, sensors, and servo motors.
  • Write software to automate systems, create user interfaces, and synthesize industrial internet of things (IIOT) data.
  • Research and develop emerging automation technologies especially robotics, computer vision, and machine learning.
  • Use communication skills to convey technical information to engineering, operations, and management personnel.
  • Work hands-on with systems to ensure they are built, commissioned, and function as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Automation and Controls.
  • Ability to create and interpret technical documents including schematic diagrams.
  • Experience configuring computers (networking, software, peripherals).
  • Strong programming abilities in any language.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience designing and troubleshooting low voltage control systems is preferred.
  • Experience programming industrial controllers and robots is preferred.
  • Experience with Power BI and Data Visualization Tools is preferred.
  • Subject matter expert (SME) for international engineering support.
  • Ability to positively work as part of a team.
