About the role
CMP is seeking a motivated and experienced Audit Senior to join our growing audit team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple client engagements across a variety of industries while managing budgets and deadlines.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute audit and financial statement engagements from start to finish.
- Identify accounting and audit issues, develop practical solutions, and communicate recommendations to clients and team members.
- Effectively manage workload across yourself and the engagement team to maximize efficiency and quality.
- Supervise, coach, and mentor interns and junior staff, supporting their professional development.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while contributing to the firm’s continued growth through exceptional service.
- Travel to client locations as needed.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience.
- CPA license or CPA candidate.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and GAAS.
- Ability to research and resolve complex accounting and auditing issues.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
