Pay
Base pay range: $123,880 - $201,290 USD. TD is committed to providing fair and equitable compensation opportunities. The base pay offered may vary based on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs.
About the Role
The Senior Audit Manager provides specialized in-depth subject matter expertise and may act as a specialized resource on audits. Responsibilities include contributing to the planning, risk assessment, and execution of audits and related processes, as well as leading or supervising audits and engagements to ensure completion.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for a significant audit area with enterprise-wide or broad functional/business impact.
- Leads and/or provides senior supervisory oversight for complex audits, ensuring completion.
- Undertakes and completes complex audit initiatives requiring seasoned specialist knowledge and/or integration of cross-functional processes.
- Plans, leads, manages, and oversees audit activities requiring alignment across multiple areas, ensuring execution in accordance with established standards.
- Oversees or leads the follow-up of findings from internal audits and regulatory reviews.
- Manages ongoing audit communications and reporting with stakeholders, senior management, and external auditors.
- Provides direction or input on complex, wide-ranging audit initiatives as a subject matter expert.
- Leads the integrated implementation of policies, processes, procedures, or changes across multiple functional areas.
- Acts as audit lead or advisor to management for areas of specialization.
- Reports on emerging trends, identifies issues and opportunities, and recommends actions to senior management.
- Facilitates key discussions and provides thought leadership to executive audiences.
- Adheres to internal policies, enterprise frameworks, and regulatory guidelines.
- Actively manages relationships with business lines, corporate functions, and control functions to ensure alignment with enterprise and regulatory requirements.
- Assesses and identifies key issues, escalating to appropriate stakeholders as needed.
- Maintains a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes and infrastructure.
- Participates in cross-functional or enterprise initiatives as a subject matter expert.
- Provides thought leadership and industry knowledge for areas of expertise.
- Encourages a positive work environment promoting service, quality, innovation, and teamwork.
- Identifies and recommends opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness, and operational efficiency.

Requirements
- Undergraduate degree required.
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience leading audit engagements.
- BSA/AML/OFAC/Fraud/Insider Risk subject matter expertise.
- CAMS or CFE certification (CFE preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Office, Power BI, and AI for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong background in audit and validation, with a focus on the audit side.
- Experience in risk disciplines: fraud, insider risk, bribery and corruption, and conduct (with a focus on fraud).
- Deep understanding of project management, team management, and fraud.
- Significant leadership experience, including leading small teams, large projects, and team development.
