About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Analog Wafer Level ATE Test Engineer to support existing IC ATE development and production. This role requires experience with analog ATE wafer sort testing and STDF data handling, along with knowledge of automated test equipment (ATE) platforms, probe card development, and software/hardware for wafer level testing.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with external vendors for R&D and production testing
  • Ensure and correlate test software and hardware to written Test Plan
  • Track production yield, milestones, problem assessment/disposition, and invoices
  • Support wafer level ATE platform for production, yield analysis, failure Paretos, and yield improvement
  • Manage production logistics, including ASIC wafer tracking and travelers
  • Support engineering releases through pilot runs and production
  • Develop, debug, and release production methods and procedures to improve efficiency and yield compliant to TL/ISO manufacturing standards
  • Write status reports, schedules, and project plans, and present results in meetings
  • Contact vendors for project scheduling, testing status, equipment booking, and test debugging
  • Collect, analyze, correlate, and interpret data using statistical techniques and industry-standard tools

Requirements

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or Physics with 5+ years of industrial experience
  • Experience with analog wafer level IC testing
  • Hands-on experience with NPI test development, wafer sort production yield analysis, and yield drop-out debug/disposition
  • Familiarity with high-performance medium-volume ASICs and production environments
  • Experience with probe card cleaning, maintenance, and debug
  • Experience with ATE platform and wafer prober setup and operation
  • Ability to assemble coherent and concise reports summarizing status and next steps
  • Ability to effectively present findings to a cross-functional, collaborative team
  • Critical thinking skills for debugging and problem-solving
  • Experience with scheduling and planning projects with external vendors and customers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Galaxy or JMP data analysis tools
  • Advantest 93K expertise, including calibration, TL/ISO compliance, and ESD compliance
  • Experience with Perforce
  • RF ATE testing experience
