Senior ATE Technician (Semiconductor Test Operations)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform docking and undocking of ATE testers with automated handlers.
• Install, replace, and validate Device Interface Boards (DIBs) and load boards.
• Ensure accurate pogo-pin alignment to prevent damaged pins and poor electrical contact.
• Perform hardware changeovers including sockets, plungers, stiffeners, and interface kits for different SoC products.
• Execute continuity, isolation, and electrical verification of load boards before testing.
• Troubleshoot and validate load boards during engineering and production activities.
• Cook up coordination socket and pin repairs with external vendors and maintenance teams.
• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and calibration of ATE systems to maximize equipment uptime.
• Load test programs and execute daily test plans provided by ATE Engineers.
• Test semiconductor devices and collect production or engineering data for analysis.
• Support shipping, receiving, inventory management, and handling of ATE hardware and accessories.
• Maintain proper documentation of equipment status, maintenance activities, and test execution.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting Semiconductor ATE environments.
• Experience working with semiconductor test equipment, handlers, load boards, and DIB assemblies.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor test hardware installation and maintenance.
• Experience supporting engineering validation or high-volume manufacturing test operations.
• Ability to read hardware documentation, test procedures, and engineering instructions.
• Comfortable working in laboratory or production test environments.
