Senior Associate - Wealth Management
About the role
The Senior Associate supports Wealth Management Managers and Directors by preparing financial statements and assisting with long-range financial planning. Responsibilities include gathering financial information, preparing and reviewing financial tools, and participating in client meetings.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review net worth, cash flow, investment planning, and investment policy statements.
- Assist with long-term cash flow planning based on personal financial goals.
- Develop and review meeting agendas, PowerPoint presentations, and email communications.
- Respond to client inquiries and initiate solutions.
- Take notes during meetings and provide summaries to clients.
- Monitor and follow up on action items from meetings.
- Participate in firm-wide and client-specific strategy meetings and continuing education discussions.
- Engage in business development activities, including attending events and coordinating with COIs.
- Support the business plan and attend relevant activities and events.
- Collaborate with managers and directors to meet business development goals.
Requirements
Strong knowledge of personal financial planning, solid investment background, proficiency in Microsoft Suite, and excellent communication skills are required. Must be able to manage multiple tasks, maintain confidentiality, and work independently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in financial planning, accounting, finance, law, economics, or related field.
- Professional certification (CFP®, CIMA®, CFA®) preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in wealth management, preferably directing clients through long-range capital sufficiency processes and advising on portfolio decisions.

- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Poise, presence, confidence, and fluency in presenting financial planning materials and addressing client questions.
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently and manage a variety of tasks.
- Passion for business development and interest in developing business development skills.
