Senior Associate/VP - Private Credit Originator

About the role

A leading, middle-market private credit manager focused on strategic lending in NYC is looking to add a Senior Associate or Vice President to the team. The firm specializes in non-sponsored, special situation credit investments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct all aspects of an investment and deal execution, including due diligence, deal structuring, financial modeling, valuation, negotiation, execution, and monitoring according to investment guidelines.
• Lead and actively contribute to all aspects of origination, due diligence, and relationship/portfolio management.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree with a strong academic background.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, direct lending, or private debt investing, with at least 3 years of experience underwriting, structuring, and executing direct lending or private credit transactions.
• Superior analytical, critical thinking, presentation, and communication (oral and written) skills.
• Desire to join an entrepreneurial and rapidly growing platform.
