Private Credit Associate/Senior Associate

The firm is a leading alternative investment manager with ~$15B AUM, offering flexible capital solutions to middle-market companies across industries while delivering attractive risk-adjusted returns for investors. This role provides the opportunity to work within a well-established platform, maintaining exposure to a lean deal team structure with meaningful responsibility across the full investment lifecycle and direct interaction with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and execute new direct lending investments across a variety of industries and transaction types
• Build detailed LBO and cash flow models to assess credit risk and support structuring decisions
• Lead diligence processes, including financial analysis, industry research, and management evaluation
• Prepare investment memoranda and present findings to the investment committee
• Support deal execution from initial screening through closing
• Review and help negotiate term sheets and credit documentation alongside internal stakeholders and external counsel
• Monitor portfolio investments and support ongoing portfolio management initiatives

Requirements

• 2-5+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, private credit, or principal investing
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skill set, with experience evaluating credit investments
• Clear, concise investment writing and communication abilities
• Demonstrated interest in direct lending and middle-market investing
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with meaningful deal exposure
