Senior Associate, Treasury Management Associate
Overview
Aligned to one or more Commercial Banking business segments, the Treasury Management Associate (TMA) provides primary sales support to aid in meeting new business generation and revenue retention targets. Working throughout the sales cycle with the Treasury Management Sales (TM Sales) team, the TMA provides key support by maintaining a client focus with an awareness and understanding of implementing products and services. This role supports sales activities, facilitates client onboarding of treasury management services deposit products, along with assisting TM Sales with ongoing client relationship management activities. The goal of the position is to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to help clients efficiently onboard treasury products/services, support them in ramping up to full utilization and build long lasting relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes technical product knowledge to assist with sales call preparation by performing a variety of sales and marketing functions including preparing account schematics, pricing proformas, proposal documentation and provides inputs into sales/relationship review presentations.
- Aid in client acquisition and deepening of existing relationships though identification of client needs.
- Prepare, review, and execute treasury management documentation in accordance with Capital One’s policies and procedures.
- Partner to ensure appropriate credit approval is in place for selected products to ensure compliance (market driven).
- Cook with internal partners to ensure successful implementation, product ramp-up and accurate billing of products and services.
- Assist clients in navigating the bank by liaising with Client Services, Implementations, and other partner teams.
- Routes client service issues to appropriate partners for completion, and communicates ownership back to stakeholders.
- Assist Treasury Management Sales in relationship planning, gathering information regarding prospects and existing clients, and updates pipeline as needed.
- Take ownership of metrics defined in the Treasury Management Dashboards and actively work to ensure items are updated accordingly.
- Manage risk management responsibilities associated with assigned portfolio.

Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent certification
- At least 2 years financial services, commercial bank or client service experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or military experience
- At least 1 year of experience with treasury management products
