Overview

The role of Treasury Management Associate (TMA) aligns with one or more Commercial Banking business segments. The TMA provides primary sales support to meet new business generation and revenue retention targets. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with sales call preparation by preparing account schematics, pricing proformas, proposal documentation, and providing inputs into sales/relationship review presentations.
  • Aiding in client acquisition and relationship maintenance by identifying client needs.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and executing treasury management documentation in accordance with Capital One’s policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring appropriate credit approval for selected products to maintain compliance.
  • Coordinating with internal partners to facilitate successful implementation, product ramp-up, and accurate billing.
  • Liaising with Client Services, Implementations, and other partner teams to assist clients.
  • Routing client service issues to appropriate partners and communicating ownership back to stakeholders.
  • Supporting Treasury Management Sales in relationship planning, gathering information, and updating pipeline.
  • Managing risk management responsibilities associated with the assigned portfolio.

Basic Qualifications

  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
  • At least 2 years of financial services, commercial bank, or client service experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree or military experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience with treasury management products.
