Senior Associate - Real Estate (Cleveland)

About the role

Taft is seeking a team-oriented Senior Associate to join its Real Estate practice in the Cleveland office. Taft Law is seeking a Senior Associate with at least 6+ years of experience for our Real Estate practice group. The ideal candidate will have experience in acquisition, disposition, financing, and commercial office leasing experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and commercial office leasing
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide strategic advice
• Prepare and review legal documents related to real estate transactions
• Advise clients on regulatory compliance and market trends
• Collaborate with other departments within the firm as needed

Requirements

• At least 6+ years of relevant legal experience
• Experience in real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and commercial office leasing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school
• Admitted to practice law in Ohio
• Member of the American Bar Association

Skills

• Strong negotiation and client relationship management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of local and state real estate laws

Pay

The salary range for this position is $230,000 – 265,000/yr. Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted information based on work experience, education, and/or skill level.
