Senior Associate, Product Marketing Strategy, New-To-Credit (Hybrid)

About the role

New to Credit is a segment within Card that seeks to expand financial access to the 50 million Americans that have limited or no credit history. We are seeking a motivated individual to help drive one of our largest acquisition channels and help take learnings from our Discover product back into the Capital One ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full funnel marketing initiatives, driving performance for major business intent such as limited time offerings or product refreshes
  • Support direct mail acquisition efforts, ensuring unique new-to-credit audience perspective is incorporated into intent
  • Develop an understanding of best practices across channels and programs
  • Leverage problem solving and influencing skills to ensure marketing initiatives deliver on intent
  • Bring a data-based approach and customer-first innovative mindset to marketing to continually optimize customer experience and in-market results
  • Translate and communicate business goals into effective creative briefs
  • Manage creative development (with internal creative teams or agency partners) to ensure marketing is on-brand, high quality, aligned to our strategic intent and delivered on schedule
  • Manage multiple projects and navigate changing priorities while staying focused on delivering excellent results
  • Collaborate with multiple partner teams and navigate/negotiate through a complex organization

Requirements

  • Has experience leading projects in large organizations, along with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet execution timelines
  • Detailed-oriented with strong prioritization skills
  • Highly effective communication skills with outstanding writing and presentation abilities
  • Experience with a variety of marketing channels (direct mail, digital marketing, website, etc)
  • Can manage the details of multiple projects, deadlines and changing priorities, while maintaining excellent and accurate work

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
  • At least 3 years of marketing experience
  • At least 2 years developing marketing test frameworks that drive results
  • At least 1 year of experience in new product launch marketing or marketing product development

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 4 years marketing experience
  • At least 3 years experience driving creative strategy and optimization plans
  • At least 1 year of experience in marketing Financial Services

Benefits

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.

Pay

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

  • McLean, VA: $96,500 - $110,100 for Sr. Associate, Marketing

Schedule

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
