Key Responsibilities
- Support the ongoing rollout, stabilization, and optimization of Workday across the employee lifecycle.
- Audit employee data between Workday and ADP to identify discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
- Review and analyze compare reports, error reports, integration reports, and audit findings to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Partner with Payroll and HRIS teams to investigate and correct employee data inconsistencies.
- Monitor Workday transactions and validate successful processing of employee changes.
Process Improvement & Documentation
- Maintain, update, and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), job aids, and process documentation related to Workday transactions and People Operations workflows.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Assist in developing and documenting new procedures as Workday functionality expands.
- Support training and knowledge-sharing initiatives across the People Operations team.
Organizational Structure & Data Management
- Create and maintain Supervisory Organizations (Sup Orgs) and organizational structures within Workday.
- Support with the processing of organizational changes including transfers, promotions, restructures, and reporting line bulk updates.
- Submit and validate Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) uploads and other mass data transactions.
- Perform quality assurance reviews following data uploads and system changes.
Reporting & Analysis
- Generate and analyze Workday reports to support People Operations, Payroll, and Business Stakeholders.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc reporting related to employee data, organizational changes, and system performance.
Issue Resolution & Stakeholder Support
- Serve as a point of contact for Workday-related operational tickets and escalations.
- Partner with the Workday Project Lead, HRIS, Payroll, and Workday Support teams to investigate and resolve system issues.
- Track, document, and manage open issues through resolution.
- Support testing activities, system enhancements, and post-production validation efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1–2 years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, HRIS, Payroll, or a related operational function, with a focus on Workday.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reconciliation.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with Workday, ADP, and other HRIS platforms.
- Experience performing data audits, reconciliations, or quality assurance reviews.
- Experience maintaining process documentation and SOPs.
- Familiarity with HR operations, payroll processes, and employee lifecycle transactions.
Pay
The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is $45,000 - $90,000 USD. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
