Senior Associate, Mutual Fund Tax

Role Overview: This position involves reviewing tax provisions, work papers, and disclosures related to Regulated Investment Companies (RIC), including complex derivatives and investment income/expenses. The senior associate supports client deliverables, performs compliance testing, and participates in technical training to enhance investment tax and accounting skills. Responsibilities Examine fiscal and excise tax work papers, financial statement disclosures, and book-to-tax adjustmentsReview quarterly and annual IRC asset compliance testingSupport the preparation of income and capital estimates of RIC distributionsEnsure accuracy of client deliverables and financial disclosuresEngage in ongoing technical training and skill development Qualifications & Skills Minimum of three years' experience in mutual fund taxBS/BA in accounting, finance, or equivalent experienceStrong understanding of accounting and tax principlesAttention to detail, client service orientation, team player attitudeAbility to interpret financial statements and fund accounting reportsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
