Senior Associate (Litigation), Jersey (Channel Islands)

About the role

A prestigious, award-winning offshore law firm based in the Channel Islands is seeking a Litigation lawyer to join its Litigation team in Jersey. This position will involve taking principal responsibility for a broad range of contentious matters, managing and coordinating client work with minimal partner supervision, and maintaining extensive direct client contact. The successful candidate will also supervise junior team members and contribute to the growth and development of the firm's global litigation practice.

Requirements

• 6+ years' post-qualification experience with a Jersey, UK or Commonwealth qualification
• Significant litigation experience
• Strong technical, drafting and legal research skills
• Proven delegation and supervisory experience
• A client-focused approach
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
• Ability to manage competing priorities
• Ability to contribute to cross-jurisdictional projects

• Business development experience
• Understanding of time recording, billing and financial disciplines
