Senior Associate, Generative AI Engineer

Responsibilities Design, build, and deploy Generative AI agents and agentic workflows that address complex business needsDevelop scalable AI solutions using large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, orchestration patterns, and autonomous agentsCreate multi-step workflows that connect with enterprise systems, APIs, and business processesPartner with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities and deliver production-ready solutionsEvaluate emerging AI tools and frameworks to improve delivery speed and solution effectivenessHelp ensure solutions meet enterprise expectations for scalability, security, performance, and maintainabilityContribute to solution architecture discussions and present approaches clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders Skills Hands-on experience building and deploying AI agents in enterprise environmentsExperience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure AI FoundryStrong understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, tool calling, memory management, and agent architecturesSoftware engineering experience with API integration, system design, and application developmentAbility to translate business needs into practical AI solution designsExperience working in a client-facing, collaborative environmentFamiliarity with modern AI-assisted development platforms such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, or Slingshot Preferred Skills Experience with agent orchestration and observability tools such as LangGraph, LangChain, or LangSmithKnowledge of cloud-native AI architectures and MLOps best practicesExperience integrating AI solutions with enterprise data platforms and business applicationsBackground supporting financial services or asset management initiativesExperience guiding AI solutions from concept through production deployment Horizontal is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where diverse perspectives are valued, respected, and welcomed.
