Responsibilities
- Manage the monthly financial process and collaborate with Amplifi internal teams (planning, activation, and billing) as well as clients.
- Discuss reporting, billing questions, resolve variances in billed vs. planned, and close out quarterly POs 90 days after month-end close (MOS).
- Compare billing against approved spend and ensure discrepancies are resolved within 90 days after MOS.
- Provide timely, accurate, and meaningful financial reports to the AOR Leadership Team and clients.
- Manage group operations systems, controls, policies, and procedures.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Build trusting, collaborative relationships with clients and the Leadership Team.
- Monitor business and client/agency concerns to address issues proactively.
- Investigate opportunities to improve reporting and analysis support.
- Foster collaboration and teamwork among all groups.
- Provide management updates and solicit feedback when appropriate.
- Communicate key information regarding client/internal agency issues or changes in account status.
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, systems, research, and associations.
- Respond to problems with lasting solutions rather than quick fixes.
- Ensure appropriate utilization of Finance/Accounting staff.
- Provide guidance, train, and motivate assigned staff.
- Construct and deliver accurate, honest, and timely performance management documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3+ years’ experience in Agency Media Financial Operations, including developing and managing process, policy, and procedure.
- Knowledge of accepted accounting principles and practices.
- Knowledge of auditing principles and practices.
- Strong systems and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail, solid business instincts, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of Bill/Pay process using MediaOcean.
- High-level proficiency in Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Pay
The annual base salary range for this position is $51,000 – $72,800. Placement within the range is based on relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. This position is also eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.
