About the role

CMTA (formerly AMA Group), a Legence Company, is seeking an experienced Electrical Senior Associate. This role will manage all Electrical design activities and aspects on various projects, focusing on client interactions and project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Client interactions and meeting client expectations for electrical projects
  • Accountable for client satisfaction
  • Establish and monitor project budgets, manage project teams, and prepare schedules
  • Oversee design development, production of working drawings, and construction administration
  • Maintain an overview of the project team’s workload and commitments
  • Lead and manage 1-2 direct reports when necessary

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering required; PE highly preferred
  • 13+ years of design experience as an Electrical Engineer in MEP
  • 6+ years of Project Management experience is preferred but not required
  • Experience independently leading projects
  • Strong understanding of project budgeting and proposal preparation
  • Experience mentoring less experienced engineers and providing engineering and design direction
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills with experience presenting to clients, end users, architects, contractors, and other consultants
  • Expert understanding of the construction process and interpretation of construction drawings
  • Autocad and Revit proficiency

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience with AutoCAD and Revit

Pay

Salary Range: $140,500 - $156,000. This role is also eligible for an annual performance-based bonus. Bonus eligibility and payout are determined by role, individual performance, and company performance, and are not guaranteed.
