Accountabilities
- Lead contract management activities
- Support client delivery
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of contracting processes and team capabilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements
- Manage complex negotiations independently
- Partner with delivery leads and client stakeholders to resolve contract issues
- Coach, mentor, and support the development of junior contract professionals
- Identify opportunities to improve client contracting processes
- Maintain accurate contract data and records
- Support the development and enhancement of contract templates, playbooks, negotiation tools, and knowledge resources
- Stay current on relevant legal, regulatory, and commercial developments
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Strong contract negotiation experience
- Commercial awareness
- Ability to manage complex legal work independently
- Significant autonomy while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to understand business objectives
- Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience coaching, mentoring, or supporting junior team members
- Experience managing client relationships and collaborating with business stakeholders
- Familiarity with matter management systems and contract management tools
- Adaptable, accountable, team-oriented, and motivated by continuous improvement
