Senior Associate - Cloud Computing

The role leads the design, implementation, and management of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure. It requires deep expertise in networking, security, hybrid‑cloud integrations, and building scalable data platforms using services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub. The position also supports Generative AI initiatives with Vertex AI, ensures platform security and compliance, and provides technical mentorship while translating complex concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage GCP infrastructure, emphasizing networking, security, and hybrid‑cloud integration.
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application delivery.
• Develop and operate scalable data platforms using BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and related services.
• Support Generative AI projects leveraging Vertex AI.
• Ensure platform security and compliance through IAM/RBAC policies and adherence to industry standards.
• Provide technical mentorship to team members.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum three (3) years of experience with cloud systems.
• Proficiency in Terraform and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and security protocols.
• Experience designing and developing scalable, cloud‑native systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud architecture and data platforms on GCP.
• Experience with cloud‑native container technologies such as Kubernetes or Docker.
• Proactive attitude toward operational excellence, security, and continuous learning.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
