Senior Associate - Cloud Computing

About the role

The role involves leading the design, implementation, and management of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure, emphasizing best practices, security, and scalability. The candidate will provide technical leadership, mentorship, and ensure platform reliability through monitoring and operational tools. This role requires a proactive, collaborative professional capable of leading cloud projects and mentoring team members, with a focus on security, operational excellence, and innovative cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

• Architecting hybrid cloud integrations
• Developing data platforms with services like BigQuery and Dataflow
• Supporting Generative AI initiatives with Vertex AI
• Establishing automated CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or Google Cloud Build
• Providing technical leadership and mentorship
• Ensuring platform reliability through monitoring and operational tools

Qualifications

• At least three years of recent GCP or similar cloud experience
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Experience designing cloud architectures, implementing production infrastructures, and working with cloud-native container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Proficiency in scripting, Unix/Linux environments, source code management (GIT, SVN), and understanding of networking, security, and compliance standards
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively and adapt to evolving market tools and practices
